Everyone is aware of the issues and dangers of young people and the internet. The media presents us with the risks by highlighting the horror stories when things have gone drastically wrong. Parents and grandparents worry and are fearful for the childrens safety online. Yet, at the same time, we realise that the internet has also opened amazing ways of communication and easier access to greater knowledge.
What can we do?
